Taking on the toughest challenges is just a day in the life of an AbbVie researcher at our European R&D center in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Here, scientists look for new ways to treat neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s; pioneer new methods of formulating complex compounds in order to make new medicines possible; and produce all of the biologic therapies used in AbbVie’s clinical trials around the world.
