Take a Tour Inside AbbVie’s Genomic Research Center
Follow Bridget Riley-Gillis, Ph.D., a human genetics scientist, into a lab where scientists study the genome.

In every one of our genomes, there are normal variations – tiny differences that dictate traits like height, eye color, and whether we prefer salty to sweet. Some of these variations might also offer clues into why certain people respond differently to a medication, or are more likely to develop a disease.

Come along on a tour of our dedicated Genomics Research Center, where AbbVie scientists examine and interpret DNA, hoping to translate this genetic information into a more personalized approach to medicines.
