But the most important way we measure success, of course, is in our ability to help people.

We call it making a remarkable impact. And we did that – over and over again – for millions around the world, especially in the areas of immunology, oncology and virology, to name just a few.

So how do you narrow that list of remarkable impacts down to just a handful? Well, we focused on those areas where we see a significant, unmet medical need. And we looked at areas where we have a real opportunity to deliver breakthrough solutions for difficult-to-treat diseases. Essentially, we chose to highlight those areas where we made the biggest impact on people in the communities where we live and work all around the world.
